About United Blind Leaders
Our Vision
United Blind Leaders envisions a world where blind and vision-impaired people are fully represented in leadership roles, particularly in organisations that serve the blind community. We strive for a future where our leadership drives decisions that affect us.
Our Story
United Blind Leaders is a group of passionate advocates who recognise the lack of representation in leadership within key organisations across Australia, particularly those which advocate for, or provide services to Disabled People. Our mission is to ensure that future leaders come from within our community and that they are empowered to take up leadership roles within our community.
Our Founders
United Blind Leaders was founded by four Blind or Vision Impaired people who assert that leadership from within the community is vital for our community if our community is to grow and be self-determining.
